I have said this before, but with a family of eight, I spend a lot of time cooking and love finding new tools or accessories for our kitchen. In particular, with all of my health issues, I like to find things that help me provide healthy food for our family. I really like this small bamboo cutting board because I have heard a lot of good things about bamboo cutting boards lately. Bamboo cutting boards are toxin free and have natural anti-bacterial properties. They are also gentle on knives and resistant to warping. This particular product is made from 100% premium bamboo, and it has not added dyes or stains. It is pretty small; it measures just 8 in x 6 in x 3/4 in. This is a good size for me as I can use it to cut cheese or fruit without having to lug out or wash our giant cutting board. I also like it because it is small enough for me to take to work or use when we travel. The grooves in the board are also nice because they keep juices from your fruit, etc. from leaking all over your counter. I also like how stain resistant and easy to clean this board is. Overall, I think that this is a great product at an excellent price!
