Even though she is our fourth child, I still get a little antsy about clipping our younger daughter's nails. It's an activity that I dread because I'm always terrified that she will move suddenly or that I will somehow hurt her. So I totally understand when first time parents get particularly anxious about this process. That's why I was so happy to get this safety nail clipper for a couple who just had their first child a few weeks ago. I really like this particular product; we also have the same product from the same manufacturer and were happy with that one, so I wanted to share it with our friends. It is also very well made and large enough for you to get a comfortable grip on it; even my dad, who has rather large and clumsy hands was able to use them comfortably when he was helping me. I did find that you have to apply more pressure than you would with a regular clipper, but if that is the trade off for protecting our child's finger tips, I'm fine with that. We are very pleased with this find and highly recommend it.
