One of the awful effects of having hormone issues is that I struggle with hairy legs/underarms and fingers. I have spent a crazy amount of money on razors, waxing, threading, etc. and finally decided that it was time to look into laser hair removal. After consulting some friends who have had this done, I learned that it is a painful process. I was concerned because I also have screwed up nerves and tend to feel pain a lot more than normal people do. This is an especially important concern for me as any bout of pain can set off a flare of other medical issues. As a result, I really wanted to find a trustworthy med spa where I could talk to a real doctor and I was very happy when I came across Anara MedSpa in Piscataway, New Jersey. Piscataway is a bit farther than I would normally go, but I have family in Edison and New Brunswick, so I figured that I could make a nice day trip out of it. I will be providing updates throughout the process, but so far, I am very pleased with this spa. First, I did a lot of online research about Anara and was very happy to find that they actually require you to have an hour-long consultation with Dr. Ram Chandra, who is board certified and boasts some very impressive credentials. I was also quite pleased to find hundreds of reviews from happy clients. Finally, I was happy when I made several calls to the spa to ask very detailed questions about the procedure and was always got very patient, detailed and thorough answers. Upon visiting the spa, I was pleased to find that the waiting area is very clean and comfortable; it made me feel confident to proceed with booking my appointment. I was also pleased to find that they were very accommodating about the scheduling and will allow you to have the consultation on the same day as your first session. Overall, I have been very pleased with everything about this medspa thus far and will be updating after my first real appointment in a few weeks.
