Medspa Services Review + Giveaway

One of the awful effects of having hormone issues is that I struggle with hairy legs/underarms and fingers. I have spent a crazy amount of money on razors, waxing, threading, etc. and finally decided that it was time to look into laser hair removal. After consulting some friends who have had this done, I learned that it is a painful process. I was concerned because I also have screwed up nerves and tend to feel pain a lot more than normal people do. This is an especially important concern for me as any bout of pain can set off a flare of other medical issues. As a result, I really wanted to find a trustworthy med spa where I could talk to a real doctor and I was very happy when I came across Anara MedSpa in Piscataway, New Jersey. Piscataway is a bit farther than I would normally go, but I have family in Edison and New Brunswick, so I figured that I could make a nice day trip out of it. I will be providing updates throughout the process, but so far, I am very pleased with this spa. First, I did a lot of online research about Anara and was very happy to find that they actually require you to have an hour-long consultation with Dr. Ram Chandra, who is board certified and boasts some very impressive credentials. I was also quite pleased to find hundreds of reviews from happy clients. Finally, I was happy when I made several calls to the spa to ask very detailed questions about the procedure and was always got very patient, detailed and thorough answers. Upon visiting the spa, I was pleased to find that the waiting area is very clean and comfortable; it made me feel confident to proceed with booking my appointment. I was also pleased to find that they were very accommodating about the scheduling and will allow you to have the consultation on the same day as your first session. Overall, I have been very pleased with everything about this medspa thus far and will be updating after my first real appointment in a few weeks.

Pet Jumpsuit Pajamas Review

I have written a lot about my fur baby. I am very picky about the products that we use for him and I love spoiling him. This is such a super cute outfit for dogs; I love the bright color and cute monkey on the little pocket. I usually shy away from jumpsuits for our dog because they don't look very comfortable and they can be a pain to put on him. I got this anyway because it was so cute. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it is very soft and stretchy; we had no issue getting it on him and it looks very comfortable (and he would certainly let us know if he was uncomfortable). It was also very helpful that the manufacturer advised us to go up one size. Our pet is usually a small, but we got the medium and it fits perfectly. Overall, I am absolutely delighted with the quality of this jumpsuit and I highly recommend it.

Sun Si'belle Broad Spectrum Mineral Moisturizing SPF30 Sunscreen,Tinted Review

As I have said many times in the past, I have super sensitive skin so I am very picky about what products I use. I have to be if I don’t want to make emergency trips to urgent care or to a dermatologist.

This tinted sunscreen is very nice; it is very light, absorbs and hydrates well and isn’t greasy at all. I love the fact that it is PABA-Free, toxin-free, gluten-free and contains lots of nice natural and organic ingredients like Hyaluronic acid, pineapple extract, sea kelp, and CoQ10. I also really like the fact that this sunscreen is tinted and doesn't leave white streaks on your face. After using it for a few weeks, I am very pleased with how it works and feels; it hasn't irritated my skin at all either. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Leather Belt Hole Punch Review

I really like this product; it is such a handy and strong tool. One of the weird medical symptoms that i struggle with is that my weight fluctuates all the time. I never really know what size to buy when I am shopping for clothes. With this handy hole punch, I can buy the longer belts and punch additional holes in them for when I am on the lower end of the scale. We have also used it to punch an extra hole in my dog's leather collar and on my dad's watch strap. The quality of this product is very impressive; it looks so durable and strong! I also like the fact that the puncher base is replaceable. Overall, I really like this product and I would highly recommend it.

DIY Stick-on Anywhere 10-LED Night Light Review

We have been adding more night lights around the house during the past few months and I wanted to get a few more. I was excited when I came across this particular light as I was so happy with some other OxyLED products that I had tried. This is an excellent and easy to install light that is great for hallways, cabinets and closets. I am using this particular light for our basement pantry, which has just one light and is very dark. I am very pleased with this product; it is much brighter than I expected. I also like the fact that it runs on AAA batteries as opposed to harder-to-find batteries that I have seen other motion sensing lights use. This is a great way to save on electricity costs and to make your home or office safer. Overall, I really like this product; it’s clearly well made and is priced very competitively. I highly recommend it.

I like simple designs like this as they will look good in any type of home or bathroom. All in all, this is a pretty and functional accessory set that looks far more expensive than its actual price. TempoScan Non-contact Body&Surface IR Thermometer Review

This is a great digital thermometer that you can use without even touching the person/thing you are measuring the temperature of. You can use it from 1" away, which is excellent; I can take my kids' temperatures when they are sleeping and I can measure their bath water without touching it. It is very easy to use, quick, and I love that the LCD screen is so easy to read - especially with the happy/sad faces that tell you whether the temperature is too high. I also like the fact that it stores up to ten readings. When I first opened the box, the thermometer was giving reads in Celsius, but I just pushed the two white buttons simultaneously for a few seconds and it switched to Fahrenheit and I had no issues at all after that. Overall, I really like this product and I highly recommend it.

I really like these headphones. As you may recall from some earlier posts, I have tried a lot of different different headphones lately and I was really happy with a different pair of Audiosharp headphones that I tried. I was still pleasantly surprised by the quality of these headphones. The sound quality is excellent and the headset is very light, comfortable and well made; you can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design and quality. The case is very compact and convenient; it's so nice to be able to drop it in my handbag without worrying about breaking or tangling the cable. The microphone was a nice touch and the noise cancelling technology is great. The design is just so sleek and modern. Overall, I really like this product. The metal housing and sound quality is very impressive; I would highly recommend it.

Himbox HB01 Plus Bluetooth 4.0 Hands-Free Car Kit Review

My cell phone has Bluetooth, which is great. Unfortunately, I also have an older car that does not have Bluetooth capability. Yes, I still have to burn or buy CD's if I want to listen to music in the car. As a result, I was super excited to find this Bluetooth hands free car kit. This kit is so handy and easy to use; I love being able to use speaker phone and listen to .mp3 files from my phone via the car's stereo system. The transmitter has a long cord, which is very convenient, and I love the fact that it comes with a USB car charger that allows you to charge up to three devices simultaneously. You can just tell that the manufacturer put a lot of thought into this product; the quality and packaging is very impressive. Overall, I’m very happy with this find and I highly recommend it.

Hot Glue Gun - Arts and Crafts - Sewing Projects Review

I really enjoy crafts like scrapbooking and making clothes, so I was delighted when I came across this hot glue gun. It works super well and is so easy to use. I also like how well made and durable it is. You can use this hot glue gun on metal, wood, paper, fabric, magnets, lace, burlap and more. So far, I have used it to reupholster the couch in our basement and I was really happy with the ease of the process and the good results. I did some research and this product is also very affordably priced. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this find and highly recommend it!

Andre Lorent Eye Cream Review

I was very excited when I was selected to review this eye cream as I was really happy with sunscreen. As I have said many times in the past, I have super sensitive skin, so I am very picky about what products I use. I was happy to try this one as this company has such a great reputation for the quality and effectiveness of their products. This eye cream has excellent ingredients such as SepiLift, Resveratrol, Shea Butter, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice & Jojoba Seed Oil. I also really like the fact that there is no fragrance as I am really sensitive to certain smells.

After a few weeks of using this product, I’m happy to report that I like it very much. It definitely makes my skin feel much tighter without that weird burning sensation you get from strong products. It also makes the skin around my eyes feel softer and less dry and puffy. I am also super happy with how they reduce the appearance of my dark circles.

This is a really cool screwdriver tool kit. This precision multi-driver set has everything you need to fix just about anything in a pinch; we have used it to fix everything from my glasses to our kids' toys to my dad's mp3 player (yes, he still uses his original iPod). I can't believe that they can fit so much in such a compact case. The mini screwdriver is made of aluminum and really comfortable to use. The set also includes special bits for iPhones and MacBooks. It even includes plastic tools you can use to open your phone, a little pin to reset your phone and a handy suction cup. Overall, I really like this product.
