We first decided to get this a dash cam like this one after we visited Korea a couple of years ago. We found that most cars there have dashboard cameras. In talking to a friend who lives there, we were impressed to hear that it's rare for people to argue after getting into car accidents because of these cameras. We got one for my husband's car when we came home, and I wanted one for my car after I bought a new one last month. I was very pleased with this dashboard camera because of its compact size and convenient features. It has a very wide angle lens, motion detection and light/darkness detection. If you are in an accident, it will automatically trigger the G-sensor and automatically save the video recording. It has loop recording so that you don't run out of storage space. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I highly recommend it.
