I have a lot of chronic medical conditions and I have found that foot/leg massages are very helpful for me. I rarely have the time or energy to go get an actual massage, so I was was very happy when I found this shiatsu foot massager with switchable heat online. I love the idea of being able to sit in my recliner and enjoy a nice foot massage in the comfort of my own home. This massager is impressive to look at; it has a nice sleek design and is surprisingly compact and light, which makes it easy to store and get out/put in the closet. I love that the pockets are zippered so that you can remove and wash them. The massager itself is easy to use; you can easily switch on/off the heat and adjust the pressure and speed. I found the massaging to be a little too strong for me, even when I kept lowering the pressure. I think that this is due to my chronic pain; I am very sensitive to touch so I'm apt to believe that this is just me. The rest of my family likes it just fine. The other thing that I wasn't crazy about is that while there are buttons to raise/lower the pressure, there is no indicator to let me know what the current pressure is... so I just keep pushing the minus button because I have no way of knowing if I have lowered it all the way. Still, I do have to say that I have seen several other similar products that are priced far more expensively, so I think that this is still a great value and I think that it's a very good product for the price.
