My husband and I are both very light sleepers and struggle with insomnia. We try to keep our bedroom dark, cool and quiet to help us sleep better. We have tried other blackout curtains, but they are usually very ugly and not entirely effective. We have also gotten blackout lining to use inside regular curtains and those are even less effective. I was very pleasantly surprised by these curtains. They are very easy to hang; I really like how soft they are and I love that the part where you slide the rod into is closed; I have gotten other blackout curtains with grommets and I find that light leaks in because the holes are too big. These keep the light out quite well. They are rather long for our particular windows, but I find that this is a good thing because it keeps the heat/cold, sounds and light out even better. Overall, I am quite pleased with this find and I highly recommend it.
