These silicone oven mitts are great; these are FDA Approved, which makes me feel good about using them. I really like the raised texture as this really does help you keep a good grip on slippery plates or bowls. I found that the texture also helps me get difficult lids off of jars, so that’s a nice added bonus. I also like the fabric lining; it is soft on your hands and feels more like a traditional oven mitt. The extra heat mat was a nice bonus.
If I had to complain about something, it would be that I wish the gloves were a little lighter. They are a tad on the heavy side, but I have found all silicone baking gloves to be on the heavy side. I believe that this is because they are so effective. Overall, I’m very happy with these gloves and would highly recommend them.
