One cause that I am very serious about is autism. My nephew, goddaughter and godson are both autistic and I work with Autism Speaks to raise funds and awareness for autism. These bears are super cute and are designed to help kids develop confidence and deal with things like bullying, isolation, rejection, etc. We got the Brianna bear and my goddaughter loves it. It's very soft and cute, and it comes with a bear, book, pendent, superhero costume and guide. It was very important to really talk with your kids and do the recommended activities instead of just handing them the bear. My goddaughter and I talked a lot about Brianna and we read the book together. I think that this is a great way to gently address these difficult topics with kids - not just autistic kids, but any kids with low self-esteem. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
