With a family of eight people, I spend a lot of time cooking and love finding new tools or accessories for our kitchen. I really like bamboo cutting boards because they are toxin free and have natural anti-bacterial properties, so I feel good about using them. They are also gentle on knives and resistant to warping. This particular product is a nice generous size. It is large enough to use for meat or vegetables for our whole family. At the same time, it is easy to store and it isn’t heavy. The drip grooves that are cut into the board are also nice because they keep juices from your fruit, etc. from leaking all over your counter. I also like how stain resistant and easy to clean this board is. Bamboo boards are not dishwasher safe, but they are very easy to wash by hand. The cutting board oil that was included is a nice bonus. I have never used cutting board oil to maintain my boards, so I’m eager to see how it works for long term maintenance. Overall, I think that this is a great product at an excellent price!
