Our kids love camping, but we don't get to go very often because I have so many allergies and I am hyper-sensitive to bug bites and sunlight. My husband does take them once in a while and we camp at home at least once every few months. In fact, we always camp (with a huge tent and sleeping bags) in our family room on Christmas Eve; it is a holiday tradition of ours. Unfortunately, holiday camping gets super cold even when we are indoors with the heat on. That's why I was so eager to try out this sleeping bag. I figured that it could be great for our Christmas camping and, of course, for my husband's real camping trips. This sleeping bag is waterproof and very soft and comfortable. It is super compact when it's in the carrying bag and I love that it is very easy to get it back into the bag. It is a nice size; I have enough room to comfortably lie there but it's also compact enough that it is very easy to stay warm inside. Overall, this is a fantastic sleeping bag that will last us a long time. It is very competitively priced and I highly recommend it!
