Having to cook for a family of 4 adults and 4 children takes up a lot of my time. As a result, I am always on the lookout for high quality tools to make this easier for me. While we have some very nice pots and pans, I wanted some additional cookware for everyday use. This set of tri-ply cookware is great; it is light and has an aluminum core between 2 layers of stainless steel. I have had heard good things about steel cookware with aluminum cores (you get the benefits of the aluminum without having to worry as much about interactions with certain types of ingredients). The cookware has four types of pans and includes covers. They are relatively light and easy to hold. The only things that I don't love about this set is that I prefer glass covers so that I can see what is inside and I prefer to have some sort of silicone or other material on the handles as they do get hot. Overall, I still think that this set is a great value. These pans are very competitively priced and well made; I highly recommend them.
