Due to some hormonal imbalances, my hair gets incredibly dry, tangled, and matted and it is hard to style. I like to curl it when I have the time, but my old curling iron broke recently and I was pleased to find this one. I have to say that I'm not really used to wand irons like this one, so it took me a little time to get used to it, but I was happy to find that this iron works faster on my super thick hair but it doesn't burn or damage it either. This iron is actually really easy to use; I'm just not used to having a longer clip-like apparatus. The digital display is very easy to read and I like that it turns off automatically. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
