Everyone in our family is a light sleeper and struggles with insomnia. We try to keep our bedrooms dark, cool and quiet to help us sleep better. We have tried other blackout curtains, but they are usually very ugly and not entirely effective. We have also gotten blackout lining to use inside regular curtains and those are even less effective. We finally got some nice blackout curtains for our bedroom, so I wanted to try to find another set for the window in our sons' bedroom. I was very pleasantly surprised by these curtains. They are very easy to hang; the dark blue fabric goes well with the rest of the decor in the room and they feature a nice pattern. These curtains keep the light out quite well; some light does get in but the manufacturer is quite up front that these block 85% of the light. I prefer this for the children's rooms to prevent falls. Overall, I am quite pleased with this find and I highly recommend it.
