We have been trying to save money but reducing the energy we use in the house. We have switched to more cost-efficient lighting and making other small changes. I found this programmable plug-in timer switch that is very convenient and easy to use. This timer switch is well made; it has a very easy to read LCD screen and it comes with very easy to follow instructions. Basically, we plugged the timer switch into the outlet in the wall and then plugged our tower fan into the timer switch. We programmed it to turn on in the afternoon and shut off automatically at a set time each night. There are many settings that you can choose from and I was amazed by how versatile it is. Overall, I'm still very pleased with this product and I would highly recommend it.
