I wanted to get a nice hard CD/DVD burner like this one to use with my laptop and tablet PC. Neither of those devices has a CD/DVD drive, so I really needed one and was quite pleased when I got this one. It is super slim and light enough to commute or travel with. It was super easy to use; there is no installation required. The read speed for CD's and DVD's was quite good and I like that you can even burn CD's with this. Overall, I think that this is a nice, high quality drive at a very competitive price. I highly recommend it.
