I have a number of chronic medical conditions, including several that affect my back, arms, and legs. A few months ago, I also injured my arm and shoulder, so I have been in physical therapy for about 2 months now. While I am having my physical therapy sessions, we frequently use a muscle roller like this one to help me passively stretch my arm and back muscles. I liked it so much that I decided to buy one to use at home. This muscle roller is great. Its spinal channel helps to cushion and protect my spine while stretching my back muscles. It is a good size in that it is certainly large enough for my needs but it is not too big or bulky to carry or store easily. It appears to be very well made and durable. I also liked the exercise diagrams that were included; they gave me some good ideas for other exercise that I can do with this roller. Overall, I am quite pleased with this find and I recommend it!
