I wanted to get a nice hard CD/DVD drive like this one to use with my laptop and tablet PC. Neither of those devices has a CD/DVD drive, so I really needed one and was quite pleased when I got this one. It is super slim and light enough to easily commute or travel with. It was very easy to use; there is no installation required. The read speed for CD's and DVD's was quite good as it is USB 3.0 compatible and I like that you can even burn CD's with this. Overall, I think that this is a nice, high quality drive at a very competitive price. I highly recommend it.
