I was very excited to get this metal bumper as I wanted to find protection that wouldn't take away from the design of the phone. I was very impressed when I received the product because the packaging was so nice and the case that the bumper comes in is so impressive. The bumper is very slim and definitely does not take away from the design of the phone, but I do have to say that I was more impressed by the packaging than I was by the bumper. Still, the bumper is functional and very slim. Overall, I am pleased with this product and will enjoy using it (and the box it came in - I am using it to hold crafting supplies).
