Due to some hormonal imbalances, my hair gets incredibly dry, tangled, and matted. I generally try to get Brazillian keratin treatments every few months as they leave my hair straight and shiny, but I am super busy and don't always have the time for that. I really like this straightener as it is equally effective and much cheaper. It is very easy to use or adjust the temperature and it has a handy automatic shut off function, which is great as I often forget to turn these off. I have tried cheaper straighteners that will either burn my hair or do nothing, so I was pleased to find that this flat iron does not damage my hair because of its special fiberglass plates. The wide plates are also nice as I find that this iron works faster on my super thick hair. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
