I was very excited when I was found this particular product because my mom had a few of these around their house when I was younger, and she frequently spoke about the great health benefits of using these salt lamps. Our kids and I have really severe allergies (I'm allergic to just about everything), so air purifiers are necessities in our home. These lamps are great because they use natural energy to trap dirt, pollen, smoke, and other toxins in the salt crystal (and thus keep them out of the air). This particular lamp is great because it has a dimmer switch. It is well made and looks nice too. I am planning to purchase a few more so that I can put them in other rooms. It was also a nice purchase because we got to talk with our kids about the science behind it and the importance of clean air. Overall, I think that this is a great product and I highly recommend it.
