We have tried a lot of foam mats like these in our home. We have hardwood floors and four kids, so we like to cover our floors with these mats so that the kids can be safer and more comfortable. These particular mats are great because they are well made, cute and educational. This set includes mats with both uppercase letters and numbers. The kids had fun arranging them to spell names and using the numbers to count. Each piece is 12 square inches and you can put them all together to form a huge 72" X 72" mat. These mats are nice because the connections fit perfectly (which was not the case with some of the cheaper mats we have had in the past) and they are very easy to clean. Overall, I am quite pleased with this find and I highly recommend it.
